All pastel work is done with archival materials. Prepared sanded boards and paper are used exclusively; they eliminate the need for fixative sprays. They will smudge if the surface is abraded. The pastel should be displayed behind glass. All pieces are framed or delivered in an archival print protector. Shipping of unframed work can be easily and safely accomplished.
I enjoy doing commissioned work, including portraits. Provide me with some photos or ideas, I will sketch a preliminary that you like before work commences. The pieces generally are 12x16”, 16x20”, or 18x24” …..standard sizes for framing. My work is generally priced from $150-$350, unframed.
